Summer Camp 2010
The whimsical days of summer. Imaginations soar, memories are made and friendships found. Each day at our camp is filled with fun, creative play and learning.
Summer Camp 2011
Camp runs from 9 am—3:30 pm each day at the White Tiger After School Club, Suite 105. The camp will be directed by Mrs. Yoo and Mrs. Steere.
- We keep busy with fun filled activities each day, games, sports, local park visits.
- The camp is open to children 6-12 years. We are limiting attendance to 11 students for optimum benefit of the children. As space fills quickly sign up early to ensure a space.
- One Week base price is $210 / Two Weeks or more $200 (each week) . Each week have additional fees for field trips and activites.
- Early drop off/late pick-up is available for an additional fee of $50 per week.
ACTIVITIES:
Daily: Exercise Class / Reading / Summer Journaling
Weekly : Swimming (McCollum), Park visits, Field Trip, Willis Tucker Spray Park
Each camper will receive a Summer Camp T-Shirt. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own snack, lunch and water bottle.
Week 1 $235/week FULL
July 11-15 : Animal Week: We will visit the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. We will study different animal groups and have some special visitors come to the camp. We will also do some animal crafts.
Week 2 $220/week FULL
July 18-22: Earth & Solar System Week. We will visit the UW Planetarium and enjoy an educational show learning about our solar system and how planets and stars formed. During the week we will build a solar system together and each student will select a planet to build and take home. We will explore recycling and how it benefits our Earth.
Week 3: $227/week FULL
July 25 - 29: Performing Arts Week. We will produce short skits from various literature and make short movies as well as making lip syncing music videos. Each student will have a DVD to take home and share with their families of their projects. We will visit Skate Deck this week.
Week 4: $226/week FULL
Aug 8-12: Fitness & Sports. We will go to the golf driving range, swimming, play baseball, soccer, capture the flag.
Week 5: $227/week FULL
Aug 15-19: Messy Week. We will make messes with Science experiments, Cooking and Art. Lots of hands on projects. We will go skating at Skate Deck.
Week 6: $245/week FULL
Aug 22-26: Water Week We will splash in at the Birch Bay Waterslides, we will have water gun and balloon battles. We will play water games. Anything water, and we are there!
